NAIST is located in the Keihanna Science City, bordering Nara and Kyoto Prefectures. It is readily accessible from Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe and Nara city.

The NAIST campus is walking distance (about 20 min) from the nearest station, Gakken Kita Ikoma. Buses from this station are available. Other buses to the university are also available from Gakuenmae and Takanohara stations (marked in red on the access map).

Complimentary bus:

After the symposium, a complimentary bus will be available, taking participants to the Gakken Kita Ikoma station, where the dinner party will be held close by. Buses are available from this station to other major train stations.

Parking:

Paid parking is available in the main lot just past the main gate on your right as you approach the university. The charge is 300yen each time payable each time you leave the lot.
