Hello from Yokohama!

I just signed up for this website and thought I should introduce myself. My name's Tom Anderson and I've been a CUE sig member for a few years. I had a short article about letters I have my students write to me in my Writing classes published in From The Chalkface (thanks again Tim) and an opinion piece about a visually challenged student in a writing class I taught. I've been teaching English in this country for about 22 years (sometimes I have trouble believing it!) and am currently teaching in two programs at Aoyama Gakuin University in Fuchinobe and at Tokai University Enoshima campus. My educational interests (besides trying to make it through the class I'm teaching!) are developing activities and curricula that work with university students and helping students to find ways to improve their English outside the classroom.
